Small boxes, big adventures—welcome to Ludolux!

In 2022, game designers Jean-Claude Pellin and Dennis Kirps breathed new life into Ludolux, the board game company founded in 1990 by Luxembourgish designer Jacques Grigioni.

Their first move? Ludolux Mini: a collection of eight pocket-sized games and game-related products, proving that plenty of fun can fit into a small package. The range has since welcomed four more titles, including Quanti.

Young players can join the fun in Luxembourgish, too! Ludolux has localized eight children’s games for ages 3 and up: Op der Spillplaz, Den Hongeregen Hugo, Alleguer meng Intercher, S.O.S. am Weltall, Lues awer Sëcher, Meng kleng Stad, Foto Fësch and Schleck-o-Mania.

The adventures continued with David Ausloos’s family game Vampire Nights in 2023, followed by Little Kingdoms in October 2025.

And 2026 brings two very different ways to play! In Padventures: Paddy Discovers the Forest, grab your scissors and join Paddy on a woodland adventure, cutting treasures from your paper sheet and collecting plants, animals and more. Every snip counts! Meanwhile, a Luxembourgish version of Pass the Bomb – “Tick … Tack … Bumm” – puts your word skills—and your nerves—to the test: find a word containing the required letters and pass the ticking bomb before time runs out!
